These Terms govern your use of Rankdar (the "Service", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.
1. The Service
Rankdar provides SEO and advertising research tools: keyword research, site and competitor reports, backlink data, ad research, rank tracking, tracking of AI answers (ChatGPT and Google AI Mode) and a site crawler (Site Health). Data comes from third-party providers and from our own crawler. It is estimated, may be incomplete or delayed, and is provided for information only. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic or any other result.
2. Accounts
- You must give accurate information and keep your password and email account secure. If you sign in with Google, the security of your Google account is your responsibility.
- Tell us promptly at support@rankdar.com about any unauthorised use of your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A workspace may have several members, up to the number of users your plan includes; each person uses their own account. Members share the workspace's projects, lists and credits. The owner manages billing and is responsible for the people they invite, and can remove them at any time. If a workspace has more members than its plan includes (for example after a subscription ends), the other members keep view-only access until the owner upgrades or removes members.
3. Plans, credits and payment
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or as stated at checkout, through our reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, whose terms also apply to your purchase, or from Egypt by transfer as described below.
- Each plan includes credits for every billing period, a number of tracked keywords and a number of Site Health pages. Reports use credits as shown in the app. Opening the same report again on the same day is not charged again.
- Unused plan credits do not roll over: your balance is reset to your plan's allowance at the start of each billing period. Credit packs bought separately remain valid for 12 months from purchase. Plan credits are used first, then credit packs, starting with the pack that expires soonest. When a paid plan ends, its unused credits expire; unexpired credit packs stay in your balance.
- Paying from Egypt: a workspace without a card subscription can also pay a plan in Egyptian pounds by InstaPay or Vodafone Cash. The price in pounds is the plan's dollar price at that day's exchange rate, rounded up. When you send the transaction number and a screenshot of the transfer, the plan may be switched on at once for up to 48 hours with a quarter of its credits while we check that the money reached our account; once confirmed, it is active for one month from the transfer and the rest of that month's credits are added. If we cannot confirm the transfer, the workspace returns to its previous plan and the credits given early are removed. A plan paid this way does not renew automatically: pay again before the month ends to continue. Paying for a different plan this way starts a new month; days left on the previous plan are not carried over. Sending a transfer you did not make, or a screenshot that was edited, is a breach of these Terms (section 5).
- Freelancer: a workspace without a subscription can buy credit packs at any time. Each pack puts it on the Freelancer plan for one month from that purchase, with the limits shown on the pricing page. When the month ends without a new pack, the workspace returns to the Free plan, and unexpired credit packs stay in its balance.
- Upgrades take effect immediately: you are charged the prorated difference for the rest of the billing period, and the extra credits for that period are added once the payment succeeds. Downgrades take effect from your next billing period.
- Add-ons, such as AI answers, are separate monthly subscriptions available only with a monthly subscription plan. They do not use credits. You can cancel an add-on at any time and it stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. If your paid plan ends, the add-on stops working and is cancelled automatically.
- If a report fails or returns no data because of a problem on our side, the credits are returned automatically.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; the new price applies from your next billing period.
- If a payment fails, we may limit paid features until it is resolved.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- resell, sublicense, rent or provide the Service to others, or resell, redistribute or publish its data in bulk (reports you prepare for your own clients are allowed, see section 8);
- use the Service, its data or its outputs to build, train or improve a competing product, service or database, or to train or fine-tune artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models, or access the Service on behalf of a competitor for these purposes;
- copy, frame or mirror any part of the Service, or reproduce its interfaces, design or text;
- decompile or reverse engineer the Service, or try to derive its source code, models or algorithms, except where the law allows it;
- scrape the Service, run reports with bots or scripts other than the tools we provide (such as our MCP server and browser extension), or get around credit, rate or plan limits;
- use Site Health on websites you are not allowed to test, or to overload any website;
- break the law, infringe the rights of others, or upload malicious code;
- probe or attack the Service, or share an account to avoid paying.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and we may refuse requests that look abusive.
6. Site Health crawler
When you start an audit, our crawler (RankdarBot) requests the public pages of the domain you enter. It follows robots.txt and the page limits of your plan. You are responsible for auditing only websites you own or are authorised to test. More about the crawler: RankdarBot.
7. Your content
You keep all rights to the domains, keywords, lists and projects you add. You give us the licence we need to operate the Service with them. We may use aggregated, anonymised usage data to improve the Service.
8. Our rights
The Service, including its software, features, interfaces, design, text, data compilations and brand, belongs to us or our licensors, and we grant you only the rights these Terms describe. Report exports are for your internal use and for your own clients, within the limits of section 5.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties for data, hosting, sign-in and payments. We are not responsible for their outages or errors, but we will work to limit the impact on you.
10. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features. If we remove a core feature of a paid plan, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused part of the period.
11. Disclaimer
The Service and all data are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate it if you breach these Terms or if the law requires it. When your account ends, your right to use the Service ends, and we delete or anonymise your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country gives you the right to another forum.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or in the app at least 2 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms.
